i’m feeling quiet here and despite busy-ness with parenting and life stuff…i’ve managed to read a novel in just a day and a half. it was a self declared day in bed, feeling on the verge of crap, mustering only enough energy to hold my book up. partly it’s the wind storming rain at my window that makes me want to curl up and skip a day but i think mostly i just haven’t done that in…um years.

1 day in. the rest of the week we’ve been out in it (at least a little).

Last year i said to myself that i would be on the ball for this particular celebration next year, but as last year, i forgot, only to be reminded by a number of flickr friend’s photos and posts…so a day late and rather impromptu, as i have yet to wrap my head around these new to me festivals, here’s our simple celebration of warmth, giving, receiving and light.

i might be crazy but i’ve committed to 2 events in 1 day, this being the evening event. i don’t even mind if i don;t sell a thing - it’s just a really great time to hang with some good crafty mamas.

Head on over to Fawn & Forest for some Little Red Caboose dolls and crowns. (it’s fun to see how other people photograph my handmades).

There’s really so much to see and i was happy to find some other local forest finds like Tiny Warbler and dress me up along with a familiar etsian who i admire and support; kiki & polly. i’ve also discovered some things new that are super awesome; cardboard safari & periwinklebloom. i don’t know about you but i’ve been perusing shops for advent and Christmas ideas already. On that note, locals, come and see me and my friends set up at the Waldorf Christmas Fair on November 21st.
