freezing at Westham Island;
mornings and evenings at the window;
Little A always wants to snuggle with M but the rascal is always on the move;
under my cutting table and after his big brother’s rock collection;
stair practice every chance he gets;
chase is big fun around here;
yay for sunnier days. more please.
other moves showing off his latest mama mades;
the reverse side – lilipads, frogs and turtles;
more quick change trousers.
kicking off the weekend with a new, fun and silly tradition of egg rolling. Little A won!
Saturday was gorgeous and sunny and full of visits;
Easter Sunday began after a very short sleep and at 5;30am! sheesh.
the indoor egg hunting began immediately. he still wants to play this game over and over. it seems to rain each year and so we’re limited to hunting indoors;
i don’t know why i bought so many treats?! he still has Halloween and Saint Nicholas treats stashed. it was mostly fun to find them and i know he’ll share. i made some more bliss balls too, thinking that would be a fair compromise to eating chocolate all day. i think i ate the most of those. i can’t stop. we planted our wheat grass just at the start of the week so we’ll be watching it grow in the week to follow.
he was good. he ate his breakfast first and then just had a mousie nibble (but then he did ask me ALL day for more);
in lieu of sweets (obviously!) little M received some nesting eggs;
i’m so happy that one of his favorite toys these past weeks remains to be the little eggs and chicks so i made him some other little surprise friends.
i made a lot of felt eggs this year and now i’m going to give wet felting and my dry hands a break and get back to sewing.
back to school tomorrow after 2 weeks off. fingers crossed for a smooth go of it.
i snapped about 50 photos in 1 minute while Little A rambled on Kerouac style and shifting constantly. i have no idea what he said – i was just exhausted watching him move. he’s bendy. i hear that in grade school they give some of the wigglers a 1 legged stool to sit on and to help them concentrate.

Little A planted some trees last week at the Evergreen Earth Day event at Jericho and yesterday we spent mostly in the yard and hood. the boys both loved getting the wagon out and it’s feeling really and finally like Spring. yay.
