autumn passing me by
i’m feeling quiet here and despite busy-ness with parenting and life stuff…i’ve managed to read a novel in just a day and a half. it was a self declared day in bed, feeling on the verge of crap, mustering only enough energy to hold my book up. partly it’s the wind storming rain at my window that makes me want to curl up and skip a day but i think mostly i just haven’t done that in…um years.

1 day in. the rest of the week we’ve been out in it (at least a little).

Ah, Take care Ella.

Thoses days are sooo needed. I can remember at least a morning like that recently! Very nice! I too just finished a novel for the first time in I can’t remember how long. I am just too practical sometimes and read much too much non-fiction!
Looks like your time outside was lovely!

Sometimes you just have to take a break from it. Especially in November, I think. It’s just time to curl up and retreat, if only for a day.

I did the same last week (or was it just last Monday?) - my only regret was not getting two new books! Been too busy to let the weather bother me but this week the Vancouver weather has me ready to run away.
