sunday project

little A has been complimenting my mamamades a lot lately and even choosing some of the friends i’ve made him over the softer store bought ones which he loves. i’ve been so busy knitting and sewing for the newbie on the way…. i feel like i should make him(Little A) something new and special too. will there be enough time to get it all done? my energy levels are limited these days as is my patience.  anyhow for now i’m real stuck on purple.

i’ve never been much of a fan of purple…. must be this little one’s influence;

  1. Ella, I’m simply LOVING the whole look of that quilt top/blanket you’ve got going there. All those modern prints, but with the perfect vintage feel. The bits and pieces. The ribbon trim. {blissful sigh} Simply. Love. it.
    Thanks for sharing!

  2. Love the blanket, so beautiful! Are you saying ‘him’ because you *know* it’s a boy? Or are you just assuming?! So exciting, these last couple of months!!!!

  3. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. And you may get an energy burst, yet - I did a LOT of crafting in the last weeks of my second pregnancy.

  4. Very pretty quilt! Purple? Do you know if you are expecting a girl? I’ll be expecting my second boy in May. Feeling pretty crafty these days too. Must be the pregnancy “nesting” bug that makes some of us want to craft more before the baby comes.

  12. Ella I have been such a slack blog visitor of late and I come over here to see how you and Little A are… and low and behold you have a beautiful blossoming belly. You look incredible. Despite the aches and niggling pains I hope you are enjoying the movements of the new babe growing and moving. Gosh, I really love being pregnant and birthing, so catching up on your blog has been awesome. Reading the flower analogy from Glo was moving. You’re in good hands girlfriend, continue to blossom. x
