lunch - free range UBC farm eggs,  free range and nitrate free bacon crisp as can be without being burnt,  quinoa barley bread with Alistair-made Okanagan apricot jam and new potato pan fries. i’ve been eating heavy and i blame it on the rain;

trying various avenues to heal a deep and ongoing ear infection. the littlest guy was along for support or at least some distracting trouble making. man, 2 kids in a doctor’s office! i hope i don’t need to pull that off anytime soon or again. We much prefer our Dr. Thara;

we’ve been so cooped up at home and in the hood that i’m going a little stir crazy. i agreed to several touristy adventures with the boys. first up, the aquarium where they have a new African penguin habitat. These guys are very sweet, interactive and curious. we will definitely make use of our membership to visit them again. also i totally caved in the gift shop and bought little A the penguin-opoly game. it’s kind of weird buying penguins that are called properties and paying rent and what not but he likes doing the math and there’s potential to learn penguin facts…overall not a very cleverly put together game;

  1. We just went to Emma Lea Farms on Thursday, such yummy fruit!

    How neat to hear about Gather Around, and to hear about Krista Morrison, I went to highschool with her, so great to see what she’s up to.
