8 /52 - with both you boys home this past week it’s been a roller coaster of moods. at times i am in awe of how well you can play together given the 6 years between you in age and other times, well other times are other ways and maybe i’ll reveal some of that another time…
Little A aka Merlin - well on your way towards the 9 year change i find myself at times searching deeply for you. these are stirring times and i love you always.
Little M aka pirate boogy -in the heart of imitation you follow close at your brother’s heels which both prides and annoys him. i find you almost always delightful.

And how lovely that they manage to play so well despite such a big gap in ages. That’s something really special.

I am fascinated by the brother dynamic — mine are on the other end of the spectrum, very close (14 months) rather than many years apart, and yet, what you describe here, sounds very familiar… +Chelsea
